|Terrorism and Counterterrorism in Africa: On March 6th & 7th, 2014 the Monterey Terrorism Research and Education Program hosted its second annual conference. Panelists debated terrorism threats, counterterrorism measures, and illicit trafficking in Africa. Featured Keynote Speaker: Former AZ Congressman Jim Kolbe. This conference was generously sponsored by: The Combating Terrorism Center (CTC) at West Point, The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, McGraw-Hill Publishing, and the Monterey Institute.|

|February 21-22, 2013 | The Terrorism-Trafficking Nexus Conference|
|MonTREP hosted a timely conference on the increasingly important topic of the terrorism-trafficking nexus. McGraw-Hill Education will be publishing a book entitled The New Clear and Present Danger which will incorporate many of the papers that were presented at the conference.
