Master of Arts in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies
The MA in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies draws upon interdisciplinary curriculum and integrates policy analysis, international security, science and technology, and history to prepare students for careers in combating violent extremism and WMD proliferation. Students also have the opportunity to take courses in the Graduate School of International Policy & Management on related subjects such as regional and area studies, global economics, cyber security and international environmental issues.
Ph.D. in Terrorism Studies at UMASS Lowell
The University of Massachusetts Lowell offers several degree programs and options in which students can study various aspects of terrorism, counterterrorism, and other topics related to national and international security. These programs offer an enriching educational experience for students pursuing a broad range of careers in the private and public sector including local, state and federal government agencies, defense contractors, research firms and advanced technology companies. These programs are affiliated with the Center for for Terrorism and Security Studies (CTSS) whose faculty are involved in teaching courses and supervising doctoral dissertations.
