Our curriculum is distinguished for its solid foundation in the fields of language teaching, linguistics and program administration. Typically you will complete our master's degree program in three or four semesters with a course load of 12-13 credits per semester.
If you have prior TESOL coursework, you may qualify for the three-semester advanced degree program.
Our students also have opportunities to put theory into practice through language education internships and professional opportunities in the United States and around the world.
Our faculty are some of the most recognized leaders in the TESOL community. They will work closely with you as mentors and colleagues. Small class sizes encourage close interaction and the exchange of career-related knowledge and creative teaching techniques.

Our program will give you the skills and expertise to set yourself apart as your language education career begins. Our alumni are teachers and administrators in the U.S. and around the world. They work at adult education centers, universities, community colleges, K-12 schools and other language learning programs. Many of our alumni have also gone on to Ph.D. programs at prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Oxford and Georgetown.
