International Policy Studies Master's Program
Our master’s degree in International Policy Studies prepares graduates for solving complex global policy issues of the 21st century including: peace and conflict resolution, human security, human rights, international trade, international development, migration and poverty.
International Policy Program
Our master’s degree in International Policy Studies is a two-year program offering a combination of rigorous learning formats. Through interdisciplinary coursework and immersive professional experiences, graduates of the International Policy program are prepared to be the solution to some of the most difficult challenges our world faces today including: resolving conflict, serving displaced persons, stopping human rights abuses, negotiating international trade and investment, and reducing poverty.
Program Tracks
We pride ourselves in the ability to offer our students an in-depth education that is customized and tailored to fit their interests and career goals by offering two distinct program tracks. Within each track, students are able to develop a focus area using seminar and elective credits.
Human Security & Development
The human security and development track is designed for students interested in understanding human rights, human security, development, international politics, violence prevention, conflict resolution, peace building, migration, gender issues, and domestic, regional and global institutions, as well as learning negotiation, mediation, and other conflict resolution skills.
Trade, Investment & Development
The trade, investment and development track is designed for students interested in understanding the motivations behind the movements and exchange of goods, services, capital, ideas and people between countries, as well as the international rules governing them.

International Policy Internships
Our students have a variety of real-world opportunities through internships and immersive learning programs such as the International Professional Service Semester, Development Project Management Institute and Frontier Market Scouts. Through these programs International Policy students can gain marketable experience in: international peace and security, conflict resolution, trade and international development and foreign affairs.
