Priscilla Wrubel

Priscilla Wrubel, served in the Peace Corps in Liberia from 1961 – 1963.  She and her husband,Tom Wrubel were teachers at the Methodist Mission in Ganta, Liberia.  They returned to Liberia for 3 more years as Director of the Fulbright Foundation.  Finally settling in Berkeley, California they founded The Nature Company in 1973, eventually expanding to over 150 stores across the United States, Canada, Japan, and Australia.

Priscilla retired to a lovely, old farmhouse in Napa Valley and is an avid gardener.
