This program is designed to provide foundational business skills for those without previous business experience or education. Students then specialize in key areas to succeed in the new socioeconomic and political realities of today.

Our 20-month MBA Curriculum: Foundations and Beyond

Business acumen today requires far more than the traditional business skills that characterized 20th century MBA programs. Today’s issues and tomorrow’s challenges demand not only a solid foundation rooted in traditional business disciplines of finance, accounting, management, marketing and quantitative methods but mandate that tomorrow’s leaders be concerned with a wide range of new risks and opportunities arising from global issues that span climate change, resource scarcity, political unrest and terrorism threats, demographic shifts, and big data.

Program with a Purpose

We care about the triple bottom line. If you’re concerned about people, the planet and profit, our MBA program seamlessly integrates coursework from our Development and Environmental Policy programs.

MBA Tracks

Our tracks prepare students to grapple with current business challenges from climate change, population growth and urbanization, raw materials and energy shortage, extreme inequality, and global terrorism. Fraud detection and money laundering are also issues that businesses must confront. These global challenges also prompt the rise of social enterprises and broaden the scope and mandate for business and investment.

The Fisher MBA in Global Impact Management offers tracks in three key areas:

Resilient Business Management
