Why Get a Joint Degree in Business and International Environmental Policy?
Business is increasingly seeking ways to address sustainability challenges, both in operations and strategy, in particular in relation to management of natural resources such as energy and water. Governments and NGOs are increasingly looking to harness market forces to promote sustainable development, including through business partnerships and market-based policy instruments. The joint MBA/MA International Environmental Policy Program prepares students to be leaders in this dynamic and expanding field. We provide a strong academic foundation that combines sustainability science, economics/finance,and policy with business strategy and management that is effective and attractive to employers.
The joint degree program offers students the opportunity to earn two degrees: a MBA in Global Impact Management and a MA in International Environmental Policy. Through the MBA option, you'll have the opportunity to pursue our One Year (12-month) or 20-month MBA programs.
The joint program has an integrated curriculum comprised of core business coursework, core environmental policy coursework, core integrated skills courses, plus electives and foreign language courses. Our faculty members are experts on a diverse range of fields such as biodiversity conservation, watershed planning, environmental and natural resource economics, energy policy, and global environmental governance
