Essential Job Responsibilities in the ESL Field

Advisors and Student Services Coordinators:

  • Immigration advising and reporting
  • Organizing orientation programs, housing, extracurricular programs and other student services

Academic Managers: 

  • Hire, train, and manage staff
  • Provide counseling for students on academic matters
  • Implement curriculum and policy changes

Center Directors:

  • Oversee both teaching and administrative staff
  • Financial oversight and policy making
