Conservation Leadership Practicum

The Conservation Leadership Practicum (CLP) is an innovative course focused on delivering the necessary skills for current and future environmental leaders. Students gain the skills necessary to manage and lead successful conservation projects with local and global organizations.

CLP will be offered as both as a semester-long course and as a weekend workshop February 18-19, 2012.   Registration for the full-semester course and/or weekend workshop will be identical to registration for any other Monterey Institute course. Register for the February 17-18 weekend workshop.

CLP will be offered to both Monterey Institute and non-Monterey Institute students. This unique program is appropriate for graduate students, junior professionals, and motivated undergraduates. Non-matriculating Monterey Institute students may apply to take the course for credit or as an audit.

If you are not a current Monterey Institute student, but are interested in signing up for this course, please contact Program Manager Carolyn Meyer at cmtaylor@miis.edu or 831.647.6417.
