Students have the chance to expand their professional network at the annual MIIS Career Fair.

To succeed in this demanding program, students should be well prepared, highly motivated, mature, and willing to follow the advice of their academic advisor.

Overall credits required for the bachelor's program are 120, including up to 70 approved credits transferred from the first two years of university study.

Additional Semesters

The third and subsequent semesters at the Institute are normally spent finishing the bachelor's language requirement (12 credits in one language at the 300-level or above), or taking courses within a master's program through the Joint Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (BAIS) and Master of Arts (MA) degree program.

Overall credits required for the bachelor's program are 120 and a minimum of 30 additional credits for the master's program. If a student completes all requirements, the master's degree is awarded at the end of the third year of study at the Institute.
