Solomon Blaylock

Reference Librarian

As Reference Librarian I’m here to provide research assistance to MIIS students and faculty at every stage of the scholarly continuum. In supporting our institution’s teaching and learning missions my main focus is your work. What do you need to get done? What challenges are you facing? What drives you? Inspires you?

We have a host of high quality scholarly and professional resources at our disposal through the William Tell Coleman Library—I can help you get what you need, when you need it. I'm also the point person for our campus' Bloomberg Professional Terminal and I serve as liaison librarian to the MBA, MPA, and ITED programs.

A little about me…I grew up in Rome, GA but before coming to Monterey in September 2017 I oversaw Course Reserves at the University of Rochester’s River Campus Libraries in Rochester, NY. I’m a musician and I enjoy hiking and biking.

I’d love to have the opportunity to meet you and get acquainted. Let’s talk!
