Library Assistant, Circulation & Interlibrary Loan Services
Carol Yelton has been a Library Assistant in the Circulation and Interlibrary Loan Department at the Monterey Institute since October 2007. Her responsibilities include placing books and articles on print and electronic reserve as well as processing Interlibrary Loan requests. She also provides support for Circulation Desk operations and assists in maintaining the periodicals collection. Prior to joining MIIS, she worked for 27 years in the travel industry.

Experiences
In my previous career as a travel agent it was very rewarding to assist people in realizing their dreams of exploring the world beyond their own local communities. In my current career, as a Library Assistant, it is equally as rewarding to be of service to the students, faculty and staff of MIIS, who come to Monterey from over 60 countries around the globe, in pursuit of their academic and professional goals.
