Tuition & Fees

Tuition is due by April 28, 2012. *Placement in the program cannot be guaranteed if payment in full is not received by this date.  Applications submitted after April 28, 2012 must include tuition payment in full at the time of submission.

The $50.00 application fee and $200.00 tuition deposit - both non-refundable - are required at the time of application submission. Only one application fee is required for MIIS students applying to the summer program and an Institute degree program.

Health Insurance Required

Obtaining health insurance through MIIS is optional; however, all SILP students are required to carry health insurance. Students who do not have proof of insurance will be required to enroll into the Monterey Institute’s health insurance program. If you are covered by a personal health care plan during the summer, then you will need to "waive" the insurance option online.To waive OR enroll into the MIIS insurance plan, please visit the Student Affair's website. 

Program Cancelation

Classes in any language may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. In the case of cancellation, applicants will be notified within one week of the application deadline date of April 28,2012. If your class is cancelled due to low enrollment or because an appropriate level of study is not available, you will receive a full refund.  *Dates and fees are subject to change.
