Katie Dutcher

Academic Coordinator, Custom Language Services

Katie is an alumna of Kent State University holding an M.A. in English with a concentration in TESL and B.A. degrees in Spanish and French. 

Before coming to the Institute, Katie taught at the Universidad Autόnoma de Morelos in Cuernavaca, Mexico and at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco. During her four years in Morocco, she appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with foreign and Moroccan colleagues, refine her approach to teaching reading and writing, and gain administrative experience.

Katie served as Associate Director of the Intensive English as a Second Language program at the Institute for five years and was proud to lead the program through a successful process of accreditation with the Commission on English Language Accreditation (CEA). Most recently, Katie has been an adjunct instructor with Custom Language Services, teaching English to business people and diplomats.

In her current position as Academic Coordinator of Custom Language Services, Katie enjoys the daily opportunity to provide support and coordination to clients and instructors.
