Schedules

Our Monterey programs can be set up year-round and can be arranged to begin as soon as three weeks from the time an application is received, although more notice is highly recommended for summer study. Total program length (with a 60 hour minimum) and scheduling are also flexible, ensuring that your program matches your needs.

Class Structure

Classes are usually arranged in two-hour blocks, 2-6 hours per day with a 10-minute break each hour. Less intensive programs are also possible. For the intensive programs, learners will work with a team of instructors. Classes are taught using a content-focused communicative approach to language study (unless otherwise requested) and programs are developed using a variety of techniques and media, as well as the inclusion of terminology specific to the learners professional field or area of interest.
