Heather Kokesch
Logistics Coordinator
Heather is originally from Minnesota but has lived in California on and off for thirteen years. She traveled abroad as an undergrad one summer to several countries in Europe for Semester at Sea as well as studied for two semesters in New Zealand. She is an alumna of the Monterey Institute and received her Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), a certificate in Language Program Administration (LPA), and taught college-level English for two years in the Philippines for the Peace Corps Master's International (PCMI) program.
Heather currently works for MIIS as a Program Coordinator. She puts together programs for the Translation and Interpretation Short Programs and is a the Logistics Coordinator for the Intensive English Programs. This past year Heather has also taken on managing the logistics for a new Summer Intensive College English program and will be traveling to Rhode Island to help set up the program.
Heather looks forward to meeting all of the Fulbright scholars and thinks this summer is going to be full of fun experiences!
