Congratulations on your scholarship and welcome to the Monterey Institute! We are delighted to host your Fulbright English for Graduate Studies Program. This activity is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs as part of its Fulbright Program, the U.S. government’s flagship international exchange program supported by the people of the United States and partner countries around the world. This activity is administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).

During your three-week stay with us in beautiful Monterey, California, it is our goal to provide you with the most effective and useful training in American academic and community culture, public speaking, research, and technology, as well as strategies for making the most of your time outside of the classroom. Our objective is to make your transition from your native country to your host university a positive and successful one.
