Adjunct Professor in International Education Management.
Jill first became interested in working with people from different countries during high school when she was part of the AFS club and participated in Model UN. In college she spent part of her sophomore year in Sheffield, England and part of her senior year in Brussels, Belgium.
Today she is the Executive Director of Enrollment Management at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. In this role she oversees the Recruiting, Admissions and Financial Aid offices and works to meet the enrollment goals of the Institute.
Jill has been an admissions professional for 15 years, starting her career at Portland State University in Oregon working in undergraduate admissions where she worked with community college transfer and international students. She has spent the past the past 13 years at the Institute where she has gained extensive experience recruiting international graduate students.

Jill earned her Master’s degree in Commercial Diplomacy at the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Portland State University. As an undergraduate she studied at Sheffield College in England and at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. She speaks French and is a Truman Scholar.
When not working, Jill loves gardening and cooking, riding her bike and roller skating and working on her family’s farm in Oregon.
