The International Herald Tribune recently published a commentary on relations between Iran and the West in the form of the letter to the editor written by Liviu Horovitz and Gaukhar Mukhatzhanova, research associates at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies at the Monterey Institute. Horovitz and Mukhatzhanova commented on international reaction to Iran’s early February satellite launch, arguing for a more nuanced approach that differentiates between Iran’s space technology development and its nuclear program.
