On Friday and Saturday, May 15-16, the Monterey Institute of International Studies will celebrate both our traditional Spring Commencement and the inauguration of Sunder Ramaswamy as the 13th president of the Institute.
A schedule of events follows below. Students, family members, invited guests, alumni, faculty, and staff are welcome at all listed events. The general public is invited to attend the May 15 Inauguration Symposium and the May 16 Commencement and Inauguration.
At the Commencement ceremony, honorary degrees will be awarded to U.S. Congressman Sam Farr of Monterey, and former Egyptian Ambassador to the United States Nabil Fahmy.
