Where are you currently working?

I am the Enrollment Marketing Manager for GSTILE Language and Professional Programs at the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

What's your dream job?

My dream job is to work in a strategic marketing or overarching development role for a higher education institution. I really love thinking big, and I would like to have a job that will allow me to work with diverse populations and people with varying levels of expertise to guide strategic direction for a small institution.

How is the International Education Management program preparing you for this career?

The tight-knit community and amazing alumni network the Monterey Institute offers, coupled with some truly brilliant faculty who are skilled practitioners in this field, create rich and diverse experiences in the program. My marketing and recruitment class, in particular, essentially led to my current position.

Also, the opportunities to connect with real clients and work through actual situations makes the International Education Management program unique in this field.  Now I communicate with many international students and their families, and the intercultural communication requirements for the program have been so useful!
