Associated Press reporter Charles Hanley quoted Cristina Hansell, director of the Newly Independent States Nonproliferation Program at the Monterey Institute’s James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, in a story on nuclear terrorism which was subsequently picked up and published by a wide range of newspapers, radio stations and online outlets including Salon.com, Yahoo News, the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Miami Herald and the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
