The fall 2012 class at MIIS is one of the largest incoming classes in the 57-year history of the Institute, at 420 students. The group includes students hailing from 35 countries and speaking 28 languages. The new class will experience an academic curriculum that continues to expand, with a new Master of Arts in International Education Management program debuting this fall, along with a new joint degree in Business Administration and International Environmental Policy, and another new joint degree in International Education Management and Public Administration. This will also be the Institute’s first year of participation in the Peace Corps Fellows program, a graduate fellowship that offers financial assistance to returned Peace Corps volunteers and places them in degree-related, professional internships.

During orientation week, the entire incoming class will participate in a variety of introductory sessions, community-building exercises and academic advising opportunities. Fall semester classes begin on Monday, August 27.
