May 2, 2012
The Monterey Institute’s James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) has launched an interactive website dedicated to delivering up-to-the-minute news and updates from this week’s meeting of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference Preparatory Committee in Vienna, as well as in-depth analysis, facts and visuals. The new site is a treasure trove of information for anyone interested in the topic and will be continue to be a resource that CNS staff and students in the Monterey Institute’s Master’s degree program in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies can build on in the lead-up to the 2015 NPT Review Conference.
The James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies is the largest nongovernmental organization in the world devoted exclusively to research and training to combat the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Last year CNS was selected by the government of Austria to operate the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-proliferation.
