Institute Students Co-Author Sierra Club’s Green Building Report
August 20, 2009
Posted August 20, 2009
The report, which was commissioned and overseen by the Club’s New Orleans chapter, examines current and previous green building efforts in the area, and cites inadequate funding as the key obstacle to green building. McKee and Dillard visited New Orleans and designed their research project during J-term last January. The report's five goals were to profile key agencies; to catalog current and former green building projects; to evaluate the capacity and needs of each business and organization; to assess the current green building situation; and to develop a directory of local green building service providers. The report is available for download from the Sierra Club’s Web site
