The Monterey Institute’s Center for the Blue Economy Launches New Website
November 28, 2011
Funded by a generous grant from the Loker Foundation, the mission of the Monterey Institute’s new Center for the Blue Economy (CBE) is to educate the next generation of leaders to help sustainably manage the world’s oceans and coasts.
In the fall of 2012 the Center for the Blue Economy (CBE) will launch a 16-credit concentration in “Ocean and Coastal Resource Management” as part of the Monterey Institute's International Environmental Policy program.
The CBE has also taken ownership of the National Ocean Economics Progam (NOEP), which is the premier think tank for ocean and coastal economic data and analysis.
