Largest Monterey Institute Career Fair Yet a Great Success
Last Friday‘s annual Monterey Institute of International Studies Career Fair drew 97 employers to the Monterey Conference Center to interact with close to 600 students and alumni.

“Ten Years After 9/11” will be the focus of a September 9 panel at the Monterey Institute.

The Monterey Institute of International Studies will host a public panel titled “Ten Years After 9/11: Reflections on the Global Jihad” on Friday, September 9 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the Irvine Auditorium inside the McCone Building at 499 Pierce Street in downtown Monterey.
The panel will feature faculty experts from the Institute’s Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies (NPTS) degree program and Monterey Terrorism Research and Education Program (MonTREP) discussing the continuing global impact of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, with special focus on the aftereffects felt in the United States, the Arab World, South Asia, and Russia and the Caucasus Region.
Moderated by Dr. Fred Wehling, chair of the Institute’s Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies degree program, the panel will feature:
