MIIS Launches New Executive Education Program

This June and October, the Monterey Institute of International Studies will for the first time offer an executive education program in Monterey, California. The program is for executives, managers and government leaders, and offers attendees the opportunity to discuss vital industry issues with experts and peers from around the world.
The two- and four-day trainings will be taught by Monterey Institute professors and other expert practitioners. Four thematic tracks will be on offer this inaugural session:
Understanding Social Media, Youth Movements, and Dynamic Markets
Day One: Social Media and Youth Movements
Day Two: Dynamic Markets
Dates: July 15-16, 2011
Improving Your International Trade Strategy
Segment One: Corporate Compliance Strategy
Segment Two: China’s Industrial Policy
Dates: October 12-15, 2011
Managing Environmental, Social, and Governance Risks
Segment One: Corporate Governance and the Board
Segment Two: Climate Risk and Business
Dates: October 12-15, 2011
Terrorism, Bioterrorism and Pandemics Preparation
Segment One: Introduction to Terrorism Issues
Segment Two: Bioterrorism and Pandemics
Dates: October 19-22, 2011
Participants can take one or two segments within each thematic track.
