American University in Cairo to Host J-Term Session of Development Project Management Institute
October 5, 2010
The Monterey Institute‘s Development Project Management Institute (DPMI) and the American University in Cairo (AUC) will launch a new joint 10-day training program next January. The program will be hosted and sponsored by the AUC as part of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed by MIIS President Sunder Ramaswamy and AUC President David Arnold last spring. The MOU is designed to expand ties and exchanges between the two schools and calls for the cultivation of academic and educational cooperation, collaborative research and much more.
Dr. Beryl Levinger, chair of the Public Administration program at MIIS, will be the primary instructor at the DPMI training and will be joined by Dr. Jennifer Bremer, her counterpart at AUC. The program will combine approximately six days of instruction with 3-4 days of fieldwork in or near Cairo.
