McCone Building
The Wounded Warrior Workforce Conference will be held at the McCone Building on the Monterey Institute campus.

The Monterey Institute of International Studies and Project HIRED will jointly host federal agencies, local and regional public officials, area businesses and disabled veterans at a Wounded Warrior Workforce on June 9 on the Monterey Institute campus.

The Wounded Warrior Workforce program is designed to provide veterans with disabilities the tools and resources they need to successfully transition into the civilian workplace. In addition, the program also offers employers long-term services and strategies for adding these dedicated and skilled and skilled heroes to their organizations. This is the first introduction of the program to the Monterey Bay area.

“We are very pleased to co-host this event with Project HIRED,” said Monterey Institute President Sunder Ramaswamy. “As an active participant in the Yellow Ribbon program for returning service members, we see this conference as a natural complement to our efforts to assist veterans in achieving their educational and professional goals.”

The event will be held at the McCone Building on the Monterey Institute campus, 499 Pierce Street, Monterey, CA 93940.
