Dr. William Potter, the founding director of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies at the Monterey Institute is in high demand to speak about the status of nuclear nonproliferation and the road ahead.  This issue has once again become the hot topic in international security and few people are more knowledgeable than Dr. Potter.

On April 27, Dr. Potter gave a lecture at the Belfer Center at Harvard University on the topic of “The Road to the 2010 NPT Review Conference: Where Are We? Where Do We Want to Go? How Do We Get There?”

On April 28, he spoke at Middlebury on “The State of the Nonproliferation Regime: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.”

On April 30, Dr. Potter will deliver a talk at the 2nd International Conference on Nuclear Weapon Free Zones at the United Nations in New York.  The UN talk is entitled: “How to Realize the Promise of Nuclear Weapon Free Zones.”
