“Cultivating Innovation”: TEDxMonterey Returns to MIIS April 15
Building on the success of last year’s conference, TEDxMonterey returns to the Monterey Institute on April 15 with a new lineup of guest speakers, this year addressing innovation.

A limited number of tickets are still available for the upcoming TEDxMonterey conference, featuring more than 15 presenters from a variety of different disciplines and perspectives addressing the theme of “Be the Solution.” Confirmed presenters include:
Conference guests will have an opportunity to speak with many of the presenters and mingle with other guests at the reception following the event. The entire event is being staged with a zero-waste objective, featuring a variety of local and organic produce.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TEDlike experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. Attendance at TEDx events is typically limited to 200 people in order to foster dialogue among participants.
