CNS Deputy Director Quoted in South Korean Press
March 19, 2010
Yale Global Online recently published an article by Dr. Spector -- Can Iran’s Accelerating Nuclear Program be Stopped? -- in which he calls on the international community to act decisively to stop Iran from creating a runaway nuclear weapons program. Dr. Spector, who is the head of the Washington office of the Monterey Institute’s James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, is especially concerned with claims that North Korea has been assisting the Iranian nuclear effort with help from Syria. The article by Dr. Spector is quoted by several South Korean news organizations such as the Korea Herald, Korea’s Global TV Arirang and English language Chosun Ilbo.
