MIIS Career Fair Draws 90+ Employers to Monterey
February 26, 2010
More than 90 employers — from government agencies such as the U.S. Department of State and the Central Intelligence Agency, to private sector leaders such as Facebook and Language Line, to NGOs such as Catholic Relief Services and the Monterey Bay Aquarium — gathered today for the Monterey Institute’s annual Career Fair. Students introduced themselves to employers at booths throughout the Monterey Conference Center’s expansive Serra Room, learning about job opportunities, dropping off resumes, and setting interview times. Workshop panels during the day featured MIIS alumni and focused on launching a career, networking, and advanced career strategies. The daylong fair finished up with a networking reception for students and employers.
