February 11, 2010
Institute alumna Mary Graham (MAIPS ’04) was recently interviewed by Voice of America regarding the development work she is doing with Practical Small Projects, the small NGO she founded "in hopes of facilitating micro-enterprise/finance projects that motivate locals to view themselves as capable entrepreneurs who can develop their own countries." Voice of America reporter Jackson Mvunganyi was specifically interested in the work Mary and PSP are doing in Mali, where they are helping villages become more self-sufficient through well construction and solar power. The full VOA report is available on PSP’s Vimeo site.
