Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey

The Institute’s advisory councils provide advice and support to several of the Institute’s research centers and the Center or Advising and Career Services with the goal of enhancing the teaching, learning, and career opportunities they offer.

Each advisory council has a distinct mission and is made up of international leaders who are active professionals in fields including policy, business, education, language, the non-profit sector, and government. Members are appointed by the Middlebury Board of Trustees after nomination by the president of the Institute.

The Institute’s advisory councils currently include:
