Bernard (Buzz) Schulte, Jr.
Buzz Schulte is a Senior Partner with Lombardy Advisors LLC, a corporate consulting firm he started in 2007. He typically works with senior management teams on management succession, talent development and global recruiting issues.
Buzz Schulte was previously a Senior Client Partner and Mentor for Korn/Ferry International, the global leader in executive search and leadership development. He formally retired from the firm in 2001 after 30 years as Managing Director and Regional Partner for the firm's Northwest Region. During his career, he was responsible for opening and staffing offices in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Denver and Seattle. Buzz also worked abroad as the Managing Partner in the London office in the mid 90's.
Buzz Schulte is currently the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and served as Chairman of the Board in 2005-6 during the period of affiliation with Middlebury College. He has also served as a Director of Golden Gate Bank, a Governor of the Commonwealth Club of California, Board member of the Mt. Diablo Region YMCA, and Board/Executive Committee of the SF Chamber of Commerce.
Buzz received an AB degree from UC Berkeley, and an MBA from Harvard University. He currently lives in Orinda, and maintains a family home in Carmel.
